Alfred Grinding Room

The Grinding Room is the raw materials research hub for the Division of Ceramic Art at Alfred University. Our mission is to support artistic research via ceramic materials, serving the community of the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.

GRINDING ROOM HOURS

May 13 to May 22, Monday thru Friday 1-4pm

May 25 to May29 CLOSED for Memorial Day Holiday and Inventory

June 1 to July 2nd. Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays, 12-3:30pm

July hours will be posted at start of Summer Workshops.

Grinding Room is closed during all University holidays and closures.


Materials are not available for sale outside of Alfred University community.

Please email your request to tingey@alfred.edu AND grindingroom@alfred.edu.

            Include the full FOAP (acct# and name) to be charged..

            Approvers (OSP, Dean’s Office, etc) or Club Treasurer MUST be cc’d on requests

            We will schedule a pick up time AFTER approval is received..
